WINNING FRIENDS AND INFLUENCING PEOPLE

This workshop will enable participants to develop effective communication skills which they can apply in ‘One to One’ situations, in meetings, over the telephone and in any setting where they need to be heard and understood. We will explore physical and verbal communication and NLP influencing tools

WORKSHOP STYLE AND NUMBERS

The workshop is delivered in a relaxed and friendly style using a variety of colourful, fun techniques. Usually in small groups of 12 participants

 
WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES

By the end of the workshop participants will be able to:

  • Explain the importance of body language as a communication tool
  • Use body language to support verbal communication
  • Read non verbal clues given by the listener
  • Apply active listening skills
  • Demonstrate how to use questioning skills
  • Apply effective rapport building skills
  • Demonstrate the use of influencing tools in negotiations and other settings
  • Use alternative methods of communication, where spoken language may not be effective
  • Communicate verbally in a clear and effective way
