This workshop concentrates on the' basics' of presentations.
We consider how to write and plan what you need to say
and then how to turn that into a presentation. We explore
the 'pitfalls' that presenters sometimes fall into and
introduce strategie for avoiding them, we also look at how to combat nerves and appear calm and confident (even if you
don't feel it) This workshop is delivered in small groups,
so that everyone gets a chance to practice their new skills
and receive feedback.
This workshop can be delivered 'in house' and
is also part of our 'open course' programme 2012
This workshop builds on existing skills & adds creativity
to the presenters 'toolkit'. Expect to be challenged in your
thinking & presentation style during the workshop. We will
review the 'basics' of presentations very briefly and then
move on to how you can make an immediate impact on your audience. We consider the importance of taking 'risks' in the delivery of your presentation including the use of props and
effective techniques. This workshop is fast, fun and creative.
