This workshop will enable participants to become effective communicators, in meetings, over the telephone, and in any setting where they need to be heard and understood

WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES

By the end of this workshop participants will be able to:

  • Explain the importance of body language as a communication tool
  • Use body language to support verbal communication
  • Read non-verbal cues given by the listener
  • Apply active listening techniques
  • Demonstrate how to use questioning skills
  • Apply effective rapport building skills
  • Use alternative methods of communication, where spoken language may not be effective
  • Communicate verbally in a clear and effective way
