OUR COMMITMENT TO EQUALITY ISSUES |
|
Really Creative Training
demonstrates its commitment to equality issues by:
-
Ensuring no-one within the company/partnerships or using its services
experiences discrimination or harassment
-
Ensuring that all partners/partner organisations or contractors have received
training on and have an awareness of issues around equality and diversity and
that this knowledge is reviewed and updated annually
-
Broadening representation within our training partners/contractors to reflect
the diversity of society
-
Ensuring that our services take into account difference and
diversity and are accessible to all who use them
|
We make every effort to;
- Identify where or if in our partnerships discrimination
occurs, and if identified what form it takes and then to challenge it.
- Look at the relationships we have with other client
organisations and at any other decision making bodies with whom we work and
review them if we become aware of any issues.
- Set out procedures and codes of conduct (minimum standards
of behaviour) within the partnerships, making sure that everyone knows and
understands them
- Maintain procedures for dealing with any breaches of these
codes – this takes the form of specific grievance procedures and harassment
and bullying policies
- Ensure that we conform to anti-discrimination legislation
in the recruitment, selection of partners/contractors
- Examine and where necessary re-assess conditions of
partnerships/contracts and flexible working
- Identify any
necessary improvements for physical access and working arrangements in
relation to partnership premises and any we provide.

Management |
|
The main
responsibility for tasks associated with each of our objectives is the
responsibility of the directors and any people within partnerships or contracted
by the organisation. We make sure that everyone is familiar with the procedures
and what is expected of them in implementation. The management of our
organisation does reflect our commitment to equality and diversity. We will only
contract with partners that encourage diversity of experience, background,
identity and opinion. |
|
Harassment |
|
We
recognise that we have a
duty to prevent
bullying
and harassment within our organisation.
bullying, harassment and
victimisation will not be tolerated
within our partnerships or our contracted arrangements |
|
Grievance and Disciplinary Procedures |
|
A formal grievance
procedure empowers
partners
to bring a grievance to the
companies
attention,
and also appeal against a disciplinary penalty |
