EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY WORKSHOP |
|
This practical workshop uses a variety of
collaborative and creative training/learning methods to explore equality and
diversity issues with an emphasis on the expectations, policies, working
practices and good practice. It is also intended to provide participants with
strategies, skills, awareness and the confidence to challenge their own
behaviour and that of others |
|
DELIVERY STYLE |
|
The style of the training is informal and relaxed, creating a
safe environment for people to develop their skills and knowledge of the
subject. The emphasis of the workshop will be on the practical application of
the knowledge, awareness and confidence gained during the day. Reference to
legislation will be made in context but will NOT be a main feature of the
topics covered. A variety of resources will be used to stimulate and increase
interest and understanding – including quizzes and games and mini ‘teach each
